About

written in history..

I have spent much of my upbringing, education and budding career in the bustling cities of Fayetteville, Arkansas and Dallas, Texas. After receiving my degree at John Brown University, I established a start in graphic design and production, later continuing on towards opportunities in merchandising, customer experience and brand marketing. My strong appreciation for product design and the customer journey has been the absolute force to push forward my ambition in visual marketing. A product’s eminent success relies equally on both great product design and the art of skillful, creative storytelling.

I can whole-heartedly say that I am undividedly in love with design, travel and raw experience. It is the ultra fine details in any of the sort that bring me the most wonder and excitement. I greatly enjoy dipping my hands into various creative channels such as fine art, culinary art, home design, print design, woodworking, photography and even coffee art — nerd alert. I’m a visionary, a romantic, and best suited for an environment where I feel safe to stretch and tinker to perfection. I have come to the understanding that I will never quite quench my thirst in seeking creative knowledge. I am a firm believer that we are all put on this earth to exemplify and share light in some manner, mirroring our own Creator. That is, we were placed inside this wondrous work of art to add to it and to create a deeper story within it – to finish out a creative masterpiece. Just hearing or seeing a story is never enough. To experience it… well that is transcendent. And so I’ve made it my life’s truest desire and mission to seek out the essence of this calling and return, just a little bit, back into the world through forms of visual storytelling. It is quite a long journey, but oh, how short it really is.

Whatever our purpose is, it includes creating something meaningful, then building connections with others through it. Let’s give ourselves permission to go beyond our daydreams and share our stories to the world..

One may have a blazing hearth in one’s soul and yet no one ever came to sit by it.

Passers-by see only a wisp of smoke from the chimney and continue on their way.
— Vincent Van Gogh

The swan symbolizes grace, beauty, elegance, humbleness, peace, protection, devotion, love, depth, strength, creativity and transformation – a true beacon of light. My Grandmother, born Sarah Swann, encompassed all of these characteristics. She was a light to all who knew her and she will not soon be forgotten. The swan reminds me to draw from the passions deep within my heart and to chase after my dreams. It reminds me to create, travel, experience and do all the things that bring me true forms of joy. It reminds me to truly love others, not just those who are like me. It reminds me to never give up, even through the treacherous storms. Finally, it reminds me to pass the light that I have received on to others, just as she did.

“For God, who said, “Let there be light in the darkness,” has made this light shine in our hearts so we could know the glory of God that is seen in the face of Jesus Christ.” — 2 Corinthians 4:6 NLT

“I have come as a light to shine in this dark world, so that all who put their trust in me will no longer remain in the dark.” — John 12:46 NLT
